TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Participant”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Singapore. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.


Please note that by confirming your registration and making payment for any of our workshops, you are accepting financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name.


This is a mutual agreement between you and Pain Relief Therapy (PRT). You must make sure that all the information provided by you is true and correct and you pay PRT for the services rendered.

Cancellation, No Show & Refund Policies for Workshops/Masterclass/Training also known as “Workshop” Programs:


Pain Relief Therapy does not accept deposits. To confirm your place in any of our Workshops, full payment is required. Our Workshops are planned far out in advance to allow you to schedule your availability. In the event that you are unable to make it for our Workshop after confirmation, please refer to our cancellation and refund policy and make payment only when you are comfortable to do so.

Refunds on Workshops Taught by Non-Local Instructors

In cases where an instructor has to travel for teaching a Workshop or class, we have a refund policy that is dependent on the amount of advance notice given by the participant. This policy takes into account the travel expenses incurred by the instructor.



  • Upon registration, a non-refundable administrative fee of $250 will be charged.
  • If you cancel 60 days or more before the scheduled event, you will be charged 60% of the total cost, minus the non-refundable administrative fee and any credit card merchant fees. 
  • For cancellation 59 days or less, no refund will be provided.
  • No refund is given if you do not attend any part of the course.
  • Pain Relief Therapy Singapore reserves the right to cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, all money paid (less the 4% credit merchant fee if payment by credit card) will be refunded in full. We will not be responsible for any travel expenses – air ticket, hotel, etc. – paid by the registrant.


Refunds on Workshops Taught by Local Instructor

  • Upon registration, there is a non-refundable administrative fee of $250.
  • If you do not attend any part of the course, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If you need to cancel your attendance, we request that you do so at least 30 days before the workshop or course begins.
  • If you cancel 30 days or more before the scheduled start date, you will be charged 50% of the total cost, minus the non-refundable administrative fee and any credit card merchant fees. 
  • For cancellation 29 days or less, no refund will be provided.
  • Pain Relief Therapy Singapore reserves the right to cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, all money paid (less the 4% credit merchant fee if payment by credit card) will be refunded in full. We will not be responsible for any travel expenses – air ticket, hotel, etc. – paid by the registrant.

Workshop Cancellation Policy


Pain Relief Therapy Singapore reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or make amendments to the training program/workshops due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, all money will be paid in full, and Pain Relief Therapy Singapore will not be responsible for any travel expenses paid by the registrant.


Privacy Policy


Our customers’ right to privacy is of paramount importance to Pain Relief Therapy Singapore, and we are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy.


We will require your name, organisation, address, email address, mobile and any other information necessary for registration in our courses. This information will also be used to send out newsletters, surveys, course and product updates. If you wish to opt out of receiving such communications, please inform us by email or whatsapp.


The data you provide us are also shared with our affiliates, and any future organisations that we represent. 

Your information will not be shared with any third parties other than those listed above. 



How We Use Collected Information


At Pain Relief Therapy Singapore, we take the privacy and security of our student’s personal information seriously. We may collect and use personal identification information for the following purposes:


  1. To improve customer service: The information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently, ensuring that you have the best possible experience with us.
  2. To personalise user experience: We may use the information to understand how our participants as a group use the services and resources provided by the company. This information helps us to continually improve and tailor our offering to better meet the needs of our participants.
  3. To send periodic emails: We may use participant’s email addresses to send them information and updates pertaining to their order, including important course updates, promotional materials, or other relevant information. Participant email addresses may also be used to respond to other inquiries, questions, or other requests. 


We value your privacy and will never disclose your personal information to any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law. If you have any questions or concerns about our use of personal identification information, please contact us. 




Changes to this Privacy Policy


Pain Relief Therapy Singapore has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage participants and clients to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.




Your Acceptance of these Terms


By enrolling in the workshop, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not register for the workshop. Your continued registration of workshops following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes. 




Photography and Video


Pain Relief Therapy Singapore has the right to photograph/video the class lectures for our education resources, marketing purposes and social media. The photographs / videos may include your images. If you do not want to be in photographs / videos, please let us know before the class starts.


Participants are not allowed to photograph / video the class lectures and demonstrations. If you do, we have the right to confiscate your material or request that you delete them on the spot.

In some cases, the trainer may allow you to video their demo. If this is the case, we have no objection to it. 

Rights, Disclaimers and Indemnity Relating to Workshop:


  1. Without limiting any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be responsible or assume any liability to any participant for:


  • any injury, damage, loss or delay affecting any person or property not arising from Pain Relief Therapy Singapore’s negligence or breach;
  • any loss, damage, cost, expense or delay suffered or incurred due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: (i) actions or omissions of third parties (including any applicable third party service providers); (ii) mechanical breakdowns; (iii) a Force Majeure Event; (iv) a failure by the participant to comply with any of his or her obligations hereunder; (vi) a failure by the participant to follow reasonable instructions.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability to any participant for any loss, damage, cost and/or expense shall in no event exceed the amount of the Programme / Workshop fare paid to and received by us in respect of such Customer or participant.
  • In no event shall we be liable for any punitive, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, including loss of production, profit, revenue or contract or loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation. We reserve the right to withdraw any itinerary or any reservation made and/or to decline or refuse any individual as a member of the workshop or learning journey, if it appears to us, in our absolute discretion, that such individual is likely to endanger the health or safety, or impair the comfort and enjoyment of the other members of the programme.
  • The Participant agrees to indemnify us, our affiliates and our respective facilitators, directors and employees, immediately on demand, against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees (on a full indemnity basis), arising out of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Participant.



Disclaimer

The following disclaimer is provided on the advice of counsel. Attendance at our Workshops requires you to hold Pain Relief Therapy Singapore and its representatives not liable and harmless from litigation for any injury, accident or undesirable effect that may occur at the meeting site, from their equipment, and/or from other attendees.

This is to include, but is not limited to, faulty elevators, slippery stairs or walkways, falling light fixtures, breaking chairs and/or collapsing tables. If you are more comfortable bringing your own equipment, including a treatment table, you are welcomed and encouraged to do so. We are also not liable for any injury, accident or undesirable effect that may occur due to any equipment another party, such as a fellow participant, may bring in.


This is to include, but is not limited to, a treatment table that may be shared or be the cause of an accident or injury.


It is also agreed that we are held not liable for any inappropriate behaviour or actions by any persons encountered at the seminar. This is to include, but is not limited to, staff, other participants, and teaching assistants. If you encounter any inappropriate behaviour, please notify the instructor or facilitator immediately. If this is not possible, please contact Pain Relief Therapy Singapore directly.   

Security and Safety Concerns


For the safety of all members of the workshop or learning journey, Pain Relief Therapy Singapore and the trainer, through its representative/s shall be empowered to manage any participant in an appropriate manner (including requiring the said participant to exercise restraint or leave the group) if such a person should act or misbehave in a manner which is unreasonable, violent or detrimental to the enjoyment, interest and safety of the other participants. In such a situation, Pain Relief Therapy shall not entertain any claims for refund or compensation. 

Third Party Providers (Instructors)


We incorporate and rely on the services of overseas instructors and other third-party service providers for our programmes. These Terms and Conditions herein and all arrangements relating to the course are additionally subject, in every respect, to any terms and conditions that may be imposed by these third-party service providers. Whilst we will endeavor to render reasonable assistance to our Customers wherever possible, we have no control over these third-party service providers and shall not be liable, in any way, for any changes made by or acts or omissions on the part of such third-party service providers in connection with any course.


  • Participant agrees to follow all safety precautions and instructions provided to prevent any injury to themselves and other participants, as well as damage to the venue.
  • Participants agree to indemnify the studio and the instructor against any damages or injuries that may be sustained to themselves, or their belongings, during the workshop.
  • The studio reserves all rights to pursue legal action for any damage to the venue or injury to the instructor.
  • Pain Relief Therapy Singapore reserves all rights to make changes or update these terms and conditions whenever necessary. In case of any dispute, we reserve all rights to make the final decision.



Risk Acknowledgement and Release


  • You agree to comply with and abide by Pain Relief Therapy’s safety and health directions, fire and safety regulations and security arrangements. You will fully and truthfully disclose to Pain Relief Therapy in writing any allergy, medical condition, pregnancy, dietary requirements or other relevant health information pertaining to you at the time of your booking.
  • While Pain Relief Therapy Singapore takes all practical and reasonable attempts to minimise any risk of injury to you or your property, you acknowledge that your attendance or participation at any workshop is at your own risk. You release and indemnify Pain Relief Therapy, its employees, servants, agents and service providers from any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, compensation, costs, charges and expenses whatsoever in any way arising out of or resulting from your attendance or participation in an event including, without limitation, any and all claims, actions, and liabilities for injury, loss or damage to you, to anyone else or to any property, unless the same was caused by the gross negligence of Pain Relief Therapy and recoverable on that ground following judgement of a competent court of final judgement.
  • Pain Relief Therapy Singapore accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any property lost on our premises. If any property has been left behind and found by a member of our staff, please arrange with us to collect such property at a convenient time. Any lost property which has not been claimed within 21 days will be disposed of at our discretion.
  • You are responsible for your own health and agree to check with the doctor before attending the workshop.
